Anomaly-Based Detection

What is Anomaly-Based Detection?

Anomaly-Based Detection attempts to identify malicious network activity or targeted attacks according to rules-based classification. As opposed to signature-based detection, anomaly-based detection does not rely on pre-defined patterns or signatures to determine what activity may be suspicious. This enables anomaly-based detection to identify previously-unknown patterns of malicious activity.

What does LightCyber have to do with it?

LightCyber Magna monitors all network and user activity, profiling normal behavior and using anomaly-based detection. Download a FREE white paper to learn more
