Big Data

What is Big Data?

Big Data is a broadly-applied term referring to data sets so massive and complex that traditional data processing methods are infeasible. In the enterprise network security context, Big Data refers to the enormous amount of data through which highly-specialized analysts must sort through in order to manually define attack characteristics, in order to effectively identify and remediate malicious activity.
